I didn't see the game unfortunately. I saw the terrible highlights from TNH, the grainy ones, and I agree with all of you.
We can't score, and it is killing us. Surinam had 3 chances on goal, and converted 2 of them. What does that say about us?
Our problem could not have been more examplified than by Brunel Fucien taken 2 shots at a penalty, after the initial shot was saved, to score the 2nd and tying goal for Haiti in injury time. Luckilly for him he scored on the rebound because I am not so sure he would have made it out of the stadium alive if he had missed altogether. I can't even imagine the pressure he must have put on himself to make that penalty at home.
Perhaps our forwards, or the team in general, plays better out of Haiti than in front of their very demanding crowd in stade Silvio Cator. I do not know. What is certain is we need to solve this problem URGENTLY, or we will not go anywhere fast.
Now it is "GIVE AZOR A CHANCE" as we seem to run out of options in Haiti to give chances to. After he comes along and can't score, than who else should we give a chance? Soon it will be the older Descolines, heck even the retired coach Eloi is thinking about suiting up, perhaps we should RIP Sanon too? JPP on one leg might be better than what we have now.
If Ricardo is not careful he might just play himself out of MLS with his sorry performance with the national team. He simply has to ask Noel to find out why he is no longer in MLS.
MLS is a league that likes foreign players who play on their national team regularly, and are productive. In other word, a potential star. If you ask me, Ricardo is behind the 8 ball in Columbus.
