I second that vote Creo!

He always had the talent which is the reason why he has been the senior team that long, but I think he lacked the confidence to assert himself at the highest level.  Puerto Rico has helped him a great deal and I hope he can go much further.  He is now a defensive force in the middle!!

This is like preaching the choir.  If he continues to progress, he would make milions!!!  Like fgmash would say James Marcelin for President.

Parma FC better buys James Marcelin from Porto Rico Islander right now, before another big team sees him.

Depuis au commencement Ekip olimpik la, Chak match Ekip la jwe non Marcelin figurer anpil fwa nan rapport du match kom jwe ki resevwa avetisman. It's a way to tell you he has always been a hard nose player, it is a fact that he has taken his game to a higher level now and he deserves some recognition for that. I wonder how the FHF is dealing with these foreign based players now after loosing Lescinel, PJJ and even Genevois.

The deserved foreign based guys need to feel some appreciation from the FHF and from the home based guys. They make great sacrifices to play for the NT, they deserve at least some preferential treatment....

The problem of " coq local and coq oversea" is a false problem.  Philippe Vorbe, Gerald Romulus, Tompouce, Pierre Bayonne, Pelao, Ersnt Jean Joseph, Guy Saint Vil, Champagne, Chaldin Délice and Henry Francillon were all " coq local" but they were "coqs qualities".  Therfore, it does not matter if a guy is coq local or coq oversea as long they are "coqs qualités".  That is the bottom line, all the other arguements are a waste of time.

The quality of our players and our league went down while all the other leagues went up.  That is the reason that it is better for all "coq locals" to go in a higher league to become "coqs qualités".  I do not know if you understand me Bonboule but I am sure that Kwame gets my points.

PS: I need to defend Kwame, he is not like the other guy.  You do not have to thank me Kwame wink!!!

Sense, I definitely get your point. Whether a player is local or from overseas, quality is what counts but the oversea players come from a better and more structured league/system that is more up to par with modern soccer and therefore they give us a leg up . Case in point, individually our players have nothing to envy jamaican or american players for, but tactically Jamaica and US are better. They have good positioning for 90 minutes and good concentration, qualities that are lacking in our local players/NT. The main reason is because our local players of this era are the products of a system in disarray where most of the clubs do not have aconventional training program that keeps the players prepared and ready to compete with teams in the outside world.

Do you think there is any other reason why we can't beat a good Jamaican or Trinidadian club? Are we better than teams like the US, Jamaica, Germany and so many more who are reinforcing their teams with foreign based players?

Guys, I think that the players need to specify why they don't want to play for the team, it is hard for me to understand why a player refuses to play for his country , it is beyong me. I believe that when a player is representing his country he is not doing it to satisfy anyone nor any so called dirigeants. the memories will be sweet if you sweat and bled for your country . Anyways I am not a soccer player. I love my country despite it all.

Seriously, you guys are creating something that don't even exist. Its not the first time players refuse to play for their NT. It happens all the time....give the team a break. Let discuss how we're going to support the team at the gold cup.
